General policies

We don't share your personal data with other companies

We generally do not share personally identifiable information (such as name or email address) with other companies. Our systems are not designed to associate personal information with your activities (such as pages you view or things you click on or search for).

We do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly obtain parental consent or remove the information.

Special situations may require disclosure of your data

To operate the service, we also may make identifiable and anonymous information available to third parties in these limited circumstances: (1) with your express consent, (2) when we have a good faith belief it is required by law, (3) when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to protect our rights or property, or (4) to any successor or purchaser in a merger, acquisition, liquidation, dissolution or sale of assets. Your consent will not be required for disclosure in these cases, but we will attempt to notify you, to the extent permitted by law to do so.

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data

We use technologies like cookies (small files stored by your browser) and unique device identifiers to anonymously identify your computer or device so we can deliver a better experience.

Analytics providers access data on our behalf

Analytics companies may access anonymous data (such as your IP address or device ID) to help us understand how our services are used. They use this data solely on our behalf. This privacy policy was last updated on 15/05/2018. This privacy policy may change from time to time. If any material changes happens to our policies, we will place a prominent notice on the website and in the application. If the change materially affects registered users, we will send a notice to you by email.

macOS and iOS applications

Numerico accesses your Google Analytics data on your behalf

Your login information is used to access your Google Analytics account. Numerico does not however store your login credentials, we store a token to access your Analytics data on your behalf. When you log out of Numerico, all your data and content is deleted and could not be accessed any more, until you sign in again.

Most information is stored on your computer only

You can find all the data Numerico stores on your computer in this folder:
~/Library/Group Containers/2J98J69NU8.com.zoltanhosszu.gaget/

Because of the way how macOS handles deleting applications this folder may still be stored on your computer after you delete Numerico from the Applications folder. You can manually delete the data folder at the above location or use an app like CleanMyMac to remove all data associated with Numerico.

Your purchase data is synced to iCloud (valid only for GAget macOS)

In order to make the widgets and GAget Alerts work properly, some data has to be synced to iCloud. Here is everything that gets collected in the database:

iOS application

Your personal information never leaves your device

Every data that you provide the app with is stored on your device in the app's sandbox. So whenever you delete the app from your device, all of your data is removed with it.
